Josh Hasty’s A MANNEQUIN IN STATIC has been making itself known ’round these parts recently (we busted out a review of it last week, check it right HERE), as we’re always eager to help promote rising young talent. Hasty’s flick is said to be rather unique and compelling, so here’s hoping this is just the start of a promising new career.
A high school boy, Alex, struggles with the lies that are building the world around him. Through his escape of writing, Alex creates a world inside of his own head. He soon discovers that the world he is now living in is much more dangerous than the world he has escaped. And there’s no turning back.
