Manson’s Horror Debut

It worked for Rob Zombie, so why not, right? Production Weekly reports today that butt-rocker gothic Marilyn Manson is going to be director butt-rocker gothic Marilyn Manson. Yup, the man who had his ribs removed to get a little friendlier with himself is going to direct his first feature flick, based on stories by Lewis Carroll. Cool!


The movie’s called PHANTASMAGORIA- THE VISIONS OF LEWIS CARROLL. Manson (who’s also starring) plays author Lewis Carroll as his life is intertwined into his famous poem. Or really, he’ll play Carroll wacked out on acid, goof-balls and mushrooms while watching Saturday Morning Cartoons.


Not only did he co-write the flick, along with Anthony Silva, but he’s also scoring the music for the film. Now you know that shit’s gonna be f*cked up.


Wow, and the news just gets better. Odd lookin’ hottie Lily Cole (left) is set to star, and Angelina Jolie is in negotiations to play the Red Queen. YES! Now, how frickin’ cool does this sound??? Manson has style, the Carroll books are trippy, and if Jolie says yes- this could be cinematic event of the year! Ok, maybe not that big, but it’ll be seriously sweet.
