Margot Robbie will perform a few bank robberies in Dreamland

Who does Margot Robbie think she is? Dwayne Johnson? THE WOLF OF WALL STREET actress has been picking up projects left and right and THR has the scoop on Margot Robbie's latest film. The outlet reports that Robbie is set to star in, and produce, a thriller by the name of DREAMLAND which is to be directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte (AS YOU ARE).

Taking place amid the devastation of the Dust Bowl, DREAMLAND is set in the 1930's and follows "a 15-year-old boy on his quest to capture a fugitive bank robber and collect the bounty on her head, all with the goal of saving his family farm from foreclosure. Against all odds, he beats out the FBI and the local police to find her, only to discover that she's far more than what the authorities claim her to be." The bank robber will be played by Margot Robbie and the script, which appeared on the 2015 Black List, has been written by Nicolaas Zwart. THR says that the producers are "hoping to bring a balance of nostalgic beauty and gritty realism to the proceedings as well as a balance between a sense of romanticism and a sense of violence." It certainly sounds as though it has potential and I'd be lying if I didn't admit that the thought of Margot Robbie got me excited. Not that kind of excited, sicko. Well…maybe.

I mentioned earlier that Margot Robbie had taken on quite a few projects, and I wasn't lying. The first of Margot Robbie's many upcoming movies will be GOODBYE CHRISTOPHER ROBIN, in which she plays the wife of Winnie the Pooh author A.A. Milne, on November 10, 2017. After which she will appear in Vaughn Stein's noir thriller TERMINAL as a mysterious waitress who leads a dangerous double life, followed by playing disgraced skater Tonya Harding in Craig Gillespie I, TONYA. She's also set to reprise her role of Harley Quinn for David Ayer's GOTHAM CITY SIRENS and is in talks to play Queen Elizabeth I of England in MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS.
