The first Creep made such an impact on me when I watched it on Streaming back in the day. As someone who has never been a fan of found footage, I had finally found one that I liked. And most of that had to do with the electric performance of Mark Duplass as Peachfuzz. This character is endlessly fascinating, and the actor has been able to take him to very interesting places. Thankfully, we’re on our third season of The Creep Tapes, and Peachfuzz continues to be a highlight. I think this is the best season of the show so far, and something that other Creep fans should really enjoy.
Sometimes interviews become more like conversations than a mere line of questioning, and that’s exactly what happened here. I spoke with Mark Duplass, Kate Siegel, and Patrick Brice about the new season. They get into the difficulties of filming in New York City with thousands of people around in Times Square. And we talk about the best joke I’ve heard in years, and it’s all about a Tommy Lee Jones sex tape. I also get in some Carrie talk with Kate, as she is both starring in and directing an episode of that series. The Creep Tapes: Season 3 plot:
Season three continues to expose a collection of video tapes from the secret vault of the world’s deadliest and most socially uncomfortable serial killer (Duplass). Unfortunately, as the tape rolls, the killer’s questionable intentions surface with his increasingly odd behavior and the victims will learn they may have made a deadly mistake.
