I find solving math problems about as exciting as getting horse-kicked in the nutsack – that is to say, not very. The only possible way to make it entertaining is to round up the people who enjoy doing it, put them in a room together, and threaten to crush the life out of them! (Hey, I’m a simple man with simple pleasures)
That’s the deal in FERMAT’S ROOM, a Spanish thriller that looks like GOOD WILL HUNTING in the Twilight Zone. Four mathematicians are summoned to an isolated house, are treated to a nice meal, and invited to solve a complicated enigma. Thing of it is, as time flies, the walls start closing in – literally. Let’s see them calculate square-roots while contemplating that shit!!
