Max Minghella joins Emile Hirsch & Olivia Thirlby in The Darkest Hour

Back in May we learned that the gorgeous Rachael Taylor would be joining Chris Gorak’s THE DARKEST HOUR. Well it took nearly a month but today we’ve got some more casting news courtesy of Variety!

Apparently Max Minghella will be joining the Tom Jacobson and Timur Bekmambetov produced flick. Minghella (right) joins Taylor, Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby (below) and Joel Kinnaman.

THE DARKEST HOUR centers on a group of youngsters in Russia following an alien invasion.

Simple enough. The film has a budget of around $40 million and is scheduled to start filming this Summer in Moscow. We’ll keep our eyes and ears open for more updates on THE DARKEST HOUR so be sure to keep it here for more as we hear it.
