McElroy scores Valet

Alan McElroy. The name probably doesn’t ring a bell, but I have a feeling you dig on the man’s work. He wrote and (not to mention and SPAWN), so when it was announced this morning that his latest script was picked up by Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros., you know I was excited!

While TURN didn’t do anything for me, I can appreciate it for what it was- and let’s face it: H4: THE RETURN OF MICHEAL MYERS was one kick-ass entry in the HALLOWEEN series- something that we needed so dearly after the clutterf*ck known as . So what’s the new project? It’s called VALET, and it goes a little something like this:

There are so many ‘inspired by true events’ movies out there these days, and most times I’ve never even heard of the true life event that they’re based on. Except this one. I remember seeing Dateline or The Today Show do a story on this about a year ago. It was freakin’ creepy. The guy made copies of her keys, and would just lay underneath her bed 24/7. Can you imagine if you found some dude just chillin’ under your bed one day? F*ck that!

As soon as VALET begins casting and a director is snagged, we’ll let you know! Stick around!
