I know I’ve been hard on McFarlane Toys for their drop in quality in recent years, but they were the pioneers when it comes to action figures based on horror movies. Regardless, McFarlane has been busy with it’s latest creations (and putting licenses to good work), a couple of figures based on ALIEN VS. PREDATOR in 12″ form.
Details are expected to emerge this Friday in an official news release, but the figures, based on the Scar Predator and Grid Alien from the film, are confirmed to be 1/6 scale in size, complete with base. The photos below are the prototypes, so the look and colourings may be subject to change blah, blah, blah.
While they aren’t as cool looking as Palisades’ Signature Series Alien Queen or Alien Queen Chestburster, these have potential to be pretty sweet figures in their own right. Click here for the original article, including larger pics for these two figures.
