TERMINATOR SALVATION: THE FUTURE BEGINS director McG updated the film’s OFFICIAL BLOG yesterday, letting the world know that filming is now halfway over, and things are running as smoothly as ever. But wait, why don’t I just let him do the talking…
We are half way through filming… This picture takes place after Judgment Day. It happened. Everything is gone. The story of the movie is the “brink moment” Reese always talked about… The entire crew takes the making of this film very seriously. I made a point of hiring key personnel that are passionate about getting this right. Everyone is well versed in the mythology… Comicon is this weekend. I look forward to sharing the film with the passionate.
There’s obviously more than just that, but those there are the highlights. Since THE DARK KNIGHT destroyed all sorts of box office records, you can bet your ass there’s a f*ckload of people out there counting down to May after seeing T4’s teaser trailer (attached to all prints of TDK). The theater I saw it in was mostly packed, and people seemed into it… hey, the trailer looked better than I could’ve imagined!
