McKee Shivers

Word on the street is that Lucky McKee knows what he’s doing. McKee is the man behind sleeper hits MAY and THE WOODS. Now these have both been on my must see list, so I’m looking forward to checking them out. The Arrow himself dug both films a lot. Just click the titles to check out his reviews.

Well McKee is at it again. This time he’s signed on to direct SHIVER, based of the book of the same title by Brian Harper. Robert Weinbach is set to write the script with production starting January 2008 in St. Louis, MO. The synopsis for the book is:

On a bad night in L.A., shy and timid Wendy Alden survives a terrifying encounter with a serial killer nicknamed the Gryphon. But the Gryphon isn’t through with Wendy. His insane obsession drives him to strike at her again and again … To survive, Wendy must discover an inner strength she never suspected she possessed.
