Director John Landis did wonders mixing horror and humor with WEREWOLF (not to mention one of the more memorable werewolf transformations ever filmed), making it as much a joy to watch today as it was when it was initially released. We all know this, so where the flock is this going, you ask? Landis will be dropping by the Pioneer Theater in New York on October 12, 2007, at 6:30pm to attend and introduce a special repertory screening of WEREWOLF as part of the Pioneer’s fourth annual “Month of Horror, Terror, and General Mayhem,” and specifically as part of “A Gathering of Wolves,” a retrospective of werewolf movies. Nice!
I’m officially jealous of anyone who lives in New York and will be able to attend this screening… it just too cool for school! Not only is it a festival of horror, but muthaf*ckin’ John Landis is gonna be there to present! Hot damn!
