Ghost House Pictures has begun the marketing machine for next Friday’s release of THE MESSENGERS, starring Kristen Stewart, Dylan McDermott, Penelope Ann Miller and John Corbett. Not only do we get a sweet behind-the-scenes featurette to oogle over, but today we also have a new clip to check out, as well as a new gallery of photos. It must be our lucky day!

To be honest, after watching this little number, it made me believe it won’t be as shitty as all the stuff we’ve seen for it so far has made me believe that it will be – now I wanna check it out!
Once you’ve had your fill with that badboy, head over to MSN for their exclusive clip, which features one little kid and one hot older sister… and what appears to be a ghost. This clip made me realize that I could not, in fact, take this movie seriously for one main reason: How is it that this little kid is not freaking out at the site of these freaky looking ghosts? It seems to me, kids this age… they start crying if you look at them funny, yet here’s this kid with no fear. It just doesn’t make any sense to me…

That does it for today’s MESSENGERS madness, but never fear… with just over a week until the film’s release, I smell more clips, trailers, features, pictures and everything else you can imagine to pump us up and make us believe it’s not going to suck. It’s PG-13, and I’m getting the same vibe of Ghost House’ other flick BOOGEYMAN, so outlook is not good…. THE MESSENGERS hits theaters everywhere February 2nd.
