Michael C. Hall is having a few problems in this trailer for The Trouble With Bliss

The other day I saw someone talking about how Michael C. Hall should be in more films. I completely agree. While I am far behind on my DEXTER watching, I was a faithful viewer and huge fan of SIX FEET UNDER.

The trailer for THE TROUBLE WITH BLISS reminds me of a couple of other films all mashed together. A middle-aged guy with no direction in his life gets caught up with a very young chick and at the same time meets a spectacular woman. Things obviously go awry. The movie does look good though. Bonus points for Peter Fonda as the dad.

Synopsis: A comedy/drama about 35-year-old Morris Bliss, who is clamped in the jaws of New York City inertia: he wants to travel but has no money; he needs a job but has no prospects; he still shares an apartment with his widowed father; and perhaps worst of all the premature death of his mother still lingers and has left him emotionally walled up. When he finds himself wrapped up in an awkward relationship with the sexually precocious, 18-year-old daughter of a former classmate, Morris quickly discovers his static life unraveling and opening up in ways that are long overdue.”
