Michael K. Bergstrom’s Snow Angels is an anti-Twilight vampire flick

Since TWILIGHT is hogging all the vampire attention these days, it’s nice to see other vampire flicks rising out of the wreckage–especially the ones that claim to be anti-TWILIGHT, as they feature hardcore, mean, and murderous vampires on the prowl.

Case in point is Michael K. Bergstrom’s SNOW ANGELS, a new vampire flick that isn’t afraid to spill a bit of blood. So what’s this sucker about, anyway? Check it: Alaska has a problem – A beautiful and ancient vampire stalks the winter night and is butchering men in Anchorage. Hyacinth – the Mother of Demons – has gone north to find that certain special man to help her rule the world. In her way stand an aging priest and some unlikely warriors on a quest to stop a monster who seems all too human but whose real identity is a deadly mystery. In her wake, she leaves a trail of empty husks. No man is safe. She is proof positive of the old truth that outward beauty sometimes hides a hideous soul.

Whoa-oh here she comes, watch out boys she’ll chew you up, whoa-oh here she comes — she’s a Maneater! Holy hell did that date me, but that’s all I can think of after reading that synopsis. It also got me thinking that there should be plenty of opportunity for nudity in this flick. Score!

Starring Jamie Pauley, Margie Faraday, Renee Daw, and Henry Weaver, the flick is currently filming on location in Anchorage, AK, with an expected release sometime next year. Be sure to check out the film’s OFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE for even more goodies, like the above image which is the ‘first official image’ from the film. Nice!

Stick around for more on SNOW ANGELS as we hear it.

Thanks to Avery for the heads up!
