Michael Pena & Diego Luna will star in Narcos season four

Netflix has plenty of hit shows on their roster, and one of their most established is the crime series NARCOS, which focuses on the DEA’s war against the drug cartels in South America. The show’s most recurring star has been Pedro Pascal (KINGSMAN 2, GAME OF THRONES), and Netflix has just announced season four will star actors Michael Pena (ANT-MAN) and Diego Luna (ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY).

Netflix made the announcement via a new teaser for the show, which recently began production in Mexico City, and will take place in Mexico (previous seasons were shot and set in Colombia). No word yet on who the two characters will play, but the show is set to premiere in 2018.

Previous seasons of the show focused on the DEA’s hunting of famed cartel leader Pablo Escobar, but season three centered on the rise of the powerful Cali Cartel after Escobar’s death. Season three ended with the discovery that the drug trade was spilling over into Mexico, where the fourth season will take place.

NARCOS is one of those shows I’ve been meaning to catch up on, but I have yet to find the time. The show seems to have grown in popularity over the years and I have heard nothing but amazing things. Pena and Luna are two terrific actors and will surely bring in a bigger audience for season four. I will for sure catch up so I can watch. No way I'm gonna miss the show starring the dudes from ANT-MAN and STAR WARS like some chump.

NARCOS season four will arrive in 2018.
