Midnight Meat poster

JoBloJoBlo

I’ve taken my fair share of overnight trains in my time, commuting between Montreal and Toronto, and THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN sounded like a heavenly time on the tracks. But then I read what this Clive-Barker-short-story-inspired movie was about, and it’s not the kind of meat train I was hoping for. This film is about a photog who tries to track a killer who stalks NYC’s metro system, known as the ‘Subway Killer.’ I like this poster a lot, and it looks like this Subway killer doesn’t mind getting his suit dirty, which I can respect. The movie stars Bradley Cooper (best known as the dickhead from WEDDING CRASHERS), Vinnie Jones, Brooke Shields, and is directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, of Japan. I’m sorry Mr. Kitamura, I’m sure you’re a talented man, but I’m pretty sure the MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN that’s running through my head is more succulent than yours will ever be. May 16 y’all.
