Mike P. Nelson to helm post-apocalyptic flick The Domestics

Don't be distracted by the sudden surfeit of cult movies and TV shows that are cropping up, we're not quite done with the post-apocalyptic trend yet. The newest entry in the genre isĀ THE DOMESTICS, from MGM and Hollywood Gang.

The film takes place:

in a post-apocalyptic future where a young couple, traveling through a harrowing, gang-ravaged countryside, are trying to make it home.

The film is set to be directed by Mike P. Nelson, from his own script. Nelson, who has previously directed more than a dozen episodes of the TV series Studio Luma as well as several shorts, will be making his feature length solo directorial debut (he was one of five directors on the 2006 B-horror flick SUMMER SCHOOL). He was also the sound editor on quite a few episodes of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, if you're into that.
