A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, which has just begun production in Chicago, continues to cast up, as another name has been added to the Springwood population.
Connie Britton, known to most as the female lead in the critically acclaimed show “Friday Night Lights” has landed a role in the flick. While it’s unspecified who she will be playing, my money is on Nancy’s mother, who holds a dark secret from her daughter. It’s not secret, however, that she’s likely Elm Street’s #1 MILF.
Britton joins Jackie Earle Haley, Thomas Dekker, Clancy Brown, Katie Cassidy, Kellen Lutz, and Rooney Mara, who plays Nancy. Samuel Bayer is directing from a script written by Wesley Strick and Eric Heisserer. It’s slated to hit theaters on APRIL 16, 2010.
