I caught about 20 minutes of SINGLE WHITE FEMALE the other day, probably in a subconscious desire to clock Jenny Jason Leigh in the shower (a scene I thought I forgot about). Somehow I don’t think we’ll get as titillating a scene in the all but rehashed story for THE ROOMMATE, starring the gorgeous Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester. Oh well, at least we have sextet of fresh quad-posters for the upcoming thriller to ogle over!
Directed by Christian E. Christiansen, from a script by Sonny Malhi, THE ROOMMATE follows a deranged college freshman (Meester) becomes obsessed with her new roommate (Kelly).
Yup, doesn’t get more basic than that, does it? With Billy Zane in the mix, you know this bastard is gonna be one guilty pleasure worth checking out…if only to see how unbelievably absurd it is.
Alyson Michalka, Cam Gigandet, Matt Lanter, Danneel Harris, Francis Fisher, Lauren Storm, Thomas Arana, Cherilyn Wilson, Jacqueline Mazarella, Elena Franklin and Ryan Doom (once more, not JoBlo’s Doom) also play a role in the film.
