But, I guess, what are we really to expect from a film that looks like an ABC Family Movie of the Week? Tarsem Singh (IMMORTALS) is going to either surprise the living shit out of us with this, or simply deliver what already appears to be an unmitigated disaster. I’m hoping for the latter, because I could use a good new Julia Roberts movie to watch while high.
MIRROR MIRROR opens March 16th.
Synopsis: MIRROR MIRROR stars Julia Roberts as an evil Queen who steals control of a kingdom, and an exiled princess (Lilly Collins) who enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright in a spirited adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over. The film also stars Armie Hammer as the object of their affection, Prince Andrew Alcott, and Nathan Lane as the hapless and bungling servant to the Queen.
