MoH season 2!!

MASTERS OF HORROR is a success, no doubt about it. While I’m one of the unfortunate ones who doesn’t have satellite, I have caught snippets of episodes, and that’s better than nothing. Now, talk has begun for the second season, which blows me away and angers my non-satellite ass at the same time.

Newcomers like Eli Roth (HOSTEL) and Tim Sullivan (2001 MANIACS) have been populating the rumour mills, as well as everyone’s favorite horror-rocker, Rob Zombie (of THE DEVIL’S REJECTS fame). Now, it appears that the Zombie rumour may become fact.

“I had dinner with Mick and Tobe [Hooper] the other night about season two,” Zombie tells Dread Central. “Mick talked to me forever about season one, but the shooting schedule conflicted with my tour dates. We’re talking about season two; it’s just a matter of fitting it in.”

Still with the series, David J. Schow is adapting the John Farris short story ‘I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream’ for a future MoH installment. Schow’s contribution to season 1 is ‘Pick Me Up’, directed by Larry Cohen.

There’s still more news regarding the second season, this time courtesy of Fangoria. Fango reports that author Graham Masterson has said that his short tale ‘Anti-Claus’ has been selected for season 2. No word on who would direct, but the article is still an interesting read.
