Monica Bellucci and Sherlock’s Andrew Scott to star in Bond 24?

We'll know for sure if Monica Bellucci and Andrew Scott (BBC's Sherlock) will appear in BOND 24 tomorrow when Sony announces the cast and title for the Sam Mendes movie, but Deadline has heard Bellucci "may be in the mix" and The Mirror believes Scott has been cast as a villain, saying the actor "was hand-picked for a role in the new Bond movie after film bosses loved his star turn in Sherlock."

The Mirror goes on to say "Casting directors thought he was perfect to play a baddie and they wanted to use his existing Sherlock profile – and amp it up to the next level. Andrew is hoping the move will see him leap from TV to the big screen, where he can eventually divide his time between London and LA. He knows this is his big break.”

If true, Monica Bellucci and Andrew Scott will star alongside returning cast members Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear and Naomie Harris, and it's been reported Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista and French actress Léa Seydoux may appear in the film as well. What are your thoughts on Bellucci and Scott possibly starring in BOND 24?

BOND 24 will be released in U.K. theaters on October 23, 2015, and is scheduled to open in the U.S. on November 6.
