I’ve been saying it for years, and I’ll say it again: there needs to be more 3-D movies released in theaters these days! Why have 3-D flicks gone out of style? Movies in 3-D are fun to watch, and it makes even the worse movies one notch better.
Which is why I’m excited for the new one sheet to Columbia Pictures upcoming animated flick MONSTER HOUSE- because it looks like they’re gonna be releasing it in 3-D! The movie looks cool enough, taking a whole new twist on the haunted house concept, but adding in the 3-D effect- this flick just jumped one notch higher on my radar!
Not only that, but the poster itself looks like good ol’ plain fun- reminds me of Halloween time as a kid- hopefully the fact that this is coming out this summer, and not this fall, doesn’t hurt its success. And yes… the tag line is to die for!
Given, the 3-D will be in limited release, but I’m sure it’ll be easy enough to find at least one theater around you that will be showcasing it in all of its 3-D glory. Be sure to catch the HOUSE this summer, when it hits theaters July 21st.
