Monuments & moons are destroyed in final Transformers trailer

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

A new era of TRANSFORMERS movies kicks off this month, with THE LAST KNIGHT promising to be a total shift for the series. But you couldn’t tell by watching any of the trailers for the movie, which promise just as much carnage and robot bashing as you’ve ever seen. The final trailer takes the same approach, but this time it really lets the gravity sink in by taking out any of that pesky ol' dialogue. Watch and behold the destruction below!

The trailer is trying to hint at a more dramatic level of action for this movie, but I just can’t seem to believe this one will be any different than the other films. Maybe the idea this will set in motion the other 14 planned films in the franchise is enough to make it feel distinguishable, but until I see the thing all I can imagine is tan people running from robots punching each other and ships crashing into things.

TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT arrives July 21.
