Here’s the rundown: Astronaut Sam Bell has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon, where he, working alongside his computer, GERTY, sends back to Earth parcels of a resource that has helped diminish our planet’s power problems.
An hour and a half watching Sam Rockwell slowly slip into insanity? Oh I am there! Rockwell rocks the shit out of any flick he’s in so I can’t wait for this one. And if you’re looking forward to this as much as I am you’ll be pleased to hear we’ve got both a poster and a trailer for you all today!
The poster, which can be seen above, got a pretty trippy vibe going for it and I’m digging it!
And check out the first trailer for the film courtesy below.
MOON comes from director Duncan Jones, who also penned the script with Nathan Parker. MOON has been making the festival rounds so it’s been getting around, and seemingly scoring some positive praise along the way. It’s looking at a limited US release come June 12th so be on the lookout for that!
