If nothing else, Michael Moore’s documentaries are interesting. I’m not his number one fan, but I’ll watch his stuff, just to see what he’s feeling militant about. His next film, SICKO now will appear in cinemas on June 29th, so for a dose of the world according to Mr. Moore make sure you check your calenders and move some stuff around. SICKO is a look at the American health-care system and the 45 million or so people in the country that don’t have it. On a better note (I think), this film is less likely to polarize opinions, since it’s about a much less controversial topic. Harvey Weinstein says of it, “I’ve seen this movie with Republicans and Democrats, and this is one time Michael has sort of unified everyone.”
SICKO will do battle in cinemas with RATATOUILLE, and the hopefully still bad-ass, LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD.
