First off, I’m gonna call the JJ Abrams produced ‘untitled’ movie formerly known as CLOVERFIELD 1-18-08 for now on, cause let’s face it: after watching the TRAILER, it’s the only ‘word’ to flash at us on the big screen, so let’s just go with it.
With that outta the way, it looks like when Scott told you I was a liar yesterday, he was absolutely right. I’m full of shite. JJ Abrams dropped a line to AICN this morning to dish out a few tidbits of info on 1-18-08, and it looks like the websites I told you about last week that talk about Ethan Haas being right and wrong have NOTHING to do with 1-18-08! Ahhh! We’ve been had! Check it:
Regarding the online stuff you posted: yeah, we’re doing some fun stuff on the web. But, obviously, if the movie doesn’t kick some massive ASS, who gives a rat’s about what’s online? So as you can imagine, we’re focusing mostly on THAT. For what it’s worth, the only site of ours that people have even FOUND is the 1-18-08.com site. The others (like the Ethan Haas sites) have nothing to do with us.
Damn it! Sorry you wasted time trying to solve the mysterious puzzle of Ethan Haas, but guess what? Abrams implies that there are more sites out there related to 1-18-08, we just haven’t found them yet! Yes! And the mystery continues…. Of course, Abrams could be sending smoke in our eyes to throw us off his trail, but why? Isn’t it a mystery enough???
