More footage of Alice in Wonderland shown in new behind-the-scenes video

As you may recall, for the last month or so Disney has declared the middle of each week “Wonderland Wednesday,” where the studio dishes out all kinds of new goodies from Tim Burton’s ALICE IN WONDERAND. Well, it’s that time again, and today we’ve got a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette which shows even more unseen footage from the flick (below, yo!)

This time out we not only see Johnny Depp offer his interpretation of what the film’s about, we hear from the man himself, Tim Burton, as well as co-stars Helena Monham Carter, Anne Hathaway, and Mia Wasikowska. We also get a word or two from Senior Visual Effects Supervisor Ken Ralston, who you might imagine plays a vital role in the creation of vibrant 3D imagery in the flick. All of these snippets are laid over some rad new footage from the film, including looks at The Cheshire Cat, The Knave of Hearts, The White Rabbit, and Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

Also starring Alan Rickman, Crispin Glover, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, Barbara Windsor, Timothy Spall, Matt Lucas, and the great Christopher Lee – ALICE IN WONDERLAND is adapted from the classic Lewis Carroll tale about 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen’s reign of terror.

The flick opens in 2D and 3D (including IMAX) March 5th!
