More Grind casting?

Amidst rumours of production shutting down and surprise castings, does anyone know what the hell is going on with GRIND HOUSE?

Apparently, Bloody-Disgusting readers know, as one reader from Austin, Texas reports that Robert Rodriguez has filled out the cast for his portion of the film again. Joining the film are Jeff Fahey (THE LAWNMOWER MAN, BODY PARTS), Rose McGowan (SCREAM) and Xena herself, Lucy Lawless. Rodriguez isn’t the only one making the casting moves, either.

Local papers in Austin report that Mickey Rourke has signed on to play the villain in Quentin Tarantino’s portion of the film, ‘Death Proof’. So let’s see, along with Woody Harrelson, Emmy Robbin and Josh Brolin yesterday, and Rourke, Lawless, Fahey and McGowan today, the cast for both films now consists of Michael Biehn, John Jarrett, Danny Trejo, Alicia Rachel Marek, Tom Savini, Dean Fernando and Marley Shelton. I guess Rodriguez likes having his casts of who’s-who. A lot. Jeez, who’s RR going to get for the sequel to SIN CITY? Look for GRIND HOUSE this December.
