More home invasion action in Stash House: Strangers meets Panic Room

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, one sub-genre of our beloved horror genre that I really dig is the whole ‘home invasion’ thing. If only because the realism behind most of these films I’d say makes them scarier than your run-of-the-mill slasher any day. It’s with that enthusiasm that I come here today to tell you all about another home invasion flick heading our way courtesy of Dark Castle Entertainment and After Dark Films.

You want details, don’t you? Well of course you do! The project is something called STASH HOUSE and is being described as THE STRANGERS meets PANIC ROOM. Nothing wrong with that. What better way to put together a home invasion flick then smashing together a couple previous ones? Scope out the actual synopsis:

A young couple move into their dream starter house only to discover that the dangerous men on the lawn will stop at nothing to retrieve what they are now locked inside with.

Simple enough. The only other detail we’re given is that Gary Spinelli penned the script for STASH HOUSE. You can bet we’ll be keeping our eyes on this one so be sure to check back soon for updates.
