More Hunger Games casting: Leven Rambin and Jack Quaid join up

Yesterday brought us not one, not two but three new members to the HUNGER GAMES fold: Elizabeth Banks and newcomers Dayo Okeniyi and Amandla Stenberg. The casting flurry isn’t about to end, however, as the official Facebook page for the Gary Ross film has been updated yet again with a couple more names.

Jack Quaid and Leven Rambin (pictured) have been cast as “District 1 Tributes Marvel and Glimmer”, respectively. Rambin has done a lot of television, including stints on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “CSI: Miami”, while Quaid is the son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid. (I can’t really figure out if he’s got an acting history, however.)

THE HUNGER GAMES is set in the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. Each year, the districts are forced by the Capitol to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the Hunger Games, a brutal and terrifying fight to the death – televised for all of Panem to see.

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth have already been cast in the flick, which is due to hit theaters on MARCH 23, 2012.
