The boys at scored some interesting news over the weekend, as it looks like a few new cast members have joined the already kickin’ line-up for Paul W.S. Anderson’s remake of DEATH RACE 2000, simply known as DEATH RACE.
It looks like Max Ryan, Jason Clarke and Fred Koehler have all signed up for roles in the flick, which has been shooting for a couple of weeks now in Montreal. The new cast will join Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Joan Allen, Ian McShane, Natalie Martinez (pictured) and our very own John Fallon (aka The Arrow), as there’s still another month and a half left of scheduled shooting that needs to take place.
I had my reservations about DEATH RACE, mostly because I love the original for it’s campiness, savageness, and all-around good times. But the more I hear about the cast, the more I’m to believe that this remake will, indeed, rock our socks off. Or at least be entertaining as hell. Either way, I can’t wait to check it out!
