It’s been a good month and change since we had an update on Scott Stewart’s epic Heaven vs. Earth battle flick LEGION. Well, as that early year release date slowly creeps up (January 22, 2010), we’ve got a nice grip of new stills from the film which you can scope below.

A Supernatural thriller concerning a group of strangers in an out-of-the-way eatery who become the first line of defense when God, believing the human race is no longer worthy of Him, decides to end their existence. This motley crew’s only spiritual ally is the archangel Michael (Bettany), who ultimately tries to save the spirit of mankind.
Sounds pretty damn rad, no?
