Sharks always equal entertainment in my book. Whether you’re judging a classic like
JAWS, or shinola like DEEP BLUE SEA, you throw a giant man eating shark into the mix, and things get exciting. Hell, the only redeemable parts of
OPEN WATER were the ones with sharks in it.
But this is a known fact, and I know I’m preachin’ to the choir here, but I’m just so damn excited for the movie adaptation of Steve Alten’s MEG, that I can hardly contain myself! Talk about the mother of all shark movies- this thing’s prehistoric, and it makes JAWS look like a f*ckin’ guppy. Plus, as it’s coming from the man behind SPEED and TWISTER, you know the flick is gonna be a blast!
Having just read MEG: PRIMAL WATERS, which is one of the sequels to MEG, I have to say that I’m pumped now more than ever. So when

IMDB‘s page for MEG had new ‘concept art’, I could hardly contain myself! One big ass shark attacking one small ass Coast Guard Chopper- if they bring only an ounce of this to the big screen, it’s gonna rock big time!
