Pretty cool news coming out of the Raw Feed camp, one of Warner Bros. home video production companies. It looks like we have not one, but more projects coming our way from them, including a sequel to their successful REST STOP!
The three films that shall be gracing the video store stands sooner than later are OTIS, SUPERMARKET, and REST STOP 2. That’s right baby, REST STOP 2! Never saw the original, but I dug the cover… so maybe it’s worth checking out, now that a sequel is on it’s way, right?
Not much is known about the three titles other than OTIS being a horror comedy starring Daniel Stern and Illeana Douglas, but actual details are scarce city. One cool thing that we did find out about though, is Raw Feed’s style in making movies, which mirrors the grindhouse days of old-school production. Check this out:
Wow. I did not know that. Who knew? Couple of cool things come out of this: one, these flicks should be release in no time, and two, this should give them a bit of slack if they’re not masterpieces… what do you expect, they only shot for 2 and a half weeks!
I for one am stoked, as I think more horror production companies like this are needed, and three new titles coming our way? Hey, ain’t nothing to complain about there!
