Well if this comes to pass it’s a stretch to call it genre, but the idea is definitely a horror. The Business Online reports that SCI, the company that owns good ‘ole Lara Croft, is in talks with Paramount for a third flick in the TOMB RAIDER franchise.
On the one hand I can’t believe the world may be faced with the terror of another one of these pieces of shite. On the other hand, it’s puzzled me why they have so far been unable to turn a hot, buxom, ass-kicking heroine with a solid mythology into a great movie. Here’s hoping they get it right this time. Or at least less wrong.
And if not, well it’s not so bad getting to see Angelina Jolie in that outfit, though even that hasn’t made these flicks watchable. What a sad statement to have to make.
