Morgan, Marsden Nailed

JoBloJoBlo

Good news if you thought I HEART HUCKABEES wasn’t bat shit insane enough; Tracy Morgan is apparently this (index finger to thumb) close to joining the cast of David O. Russell’s next film, NAILED. James Marsden and Cathine Keener are also in talks. “Marsden will play small-town the boyfriend of Biel’s character Alice, a naive waitress who gets a nail shot into her head, causing erratic and outrageous behavior. She heads to Washington to fight for better health care and ends up falling for a clueless new congressman (Jake Gyllenhaal) who must summon the political courage to save her.” Of course, H-R for no reason whatsoever, left out the part that Jessica Biel will be playing a character who goes sexually crazy and makes our guy Dave Davis’ head explode.

There’s no word yet on who Morgan will be playing, but if I had to speculate it would be a topless drunk who runs around trying to escape Zulu warriors and imaginary goblins. It wasn’t mentioned in the article, but I assume Russell’s is actively pursuing Gary Busey, so that he can cement his bid for the Oscar for Most Insane People Involved In A Movie, Ever.
