Mother’s Day’s mommy!

Whoa Mama!!! We’ve got ourselve one hell of an update for Darren Lynn Bousman’s MOTHER’S DAY remake! We now know who “Mother” is! And, according to this humble writer, it’s a damn doozy: Rebecca DeMornay! I am not f*cking kidding! The blonde bombshell who’s simply stayed sexy throughout her long stay in the movie biz! I guess you could say she in now officially a MILF!

Mr. Bousman sound equally excited about this recent cast announcement. Read on: “Every time you look at (Rebecca), she is on fire and to take her to this level, which is like her role in ‘Hand That Rocks the Cradle’ times a thousand, is exciting. She is not some Freddy Krueger or Jason, so it was important for me to get a real actress.”

Oh, and that he certainly did! Props to Bousman for making an excellent choice! Ms. DeMornay joins the now-large, and talented, cast of Jaime King, Briana Evigan, Shawn Ashmore, Patrick Flueger, Lyriq Bent, Lisa Marcos, and Alexa Vega. Yeah, I’m pretty damn excited for this bitch.
