Johnny Depp might be wearing a little too much make-up to play Barnabas Collins in Dark Shadows

Okay, so I know that on stage you have to cake on the make-up a bit so everyone in the house can see it but I’m not understanding what’s going on here.

Johnny Depp is no stranger to the white make-up when it comes to Tim Burton films but does Barnabas Collins need this much for DARK SHADOWS? Reminds me of a bad vampire costume for a kid. Again, maybe I’m just misunderstanding the intent. On the arm of Depp is Bella Heathcote who is playing Victoria Winters.

I’m still excited to see what Tim Burton does with the world of DARK SHADOWS. But an official photo of the character some time in the near future might be nice.
