Luke Perry, Riverdale, stroke

According to multiple reports, RIVERDALE star and THE FIFTH ELEMENT actor Luke Perry has been hospitalized after reportedly suffering a stroke on Wednesday.

The incident happened at about 9:40 a.m., when The Los Angeles Fire Department received a "medical assistance" call. While authorities would not confirm that the person taken to the hosital was Perry, the BEVERLY HILLS 90210 alum's rep, Arnold Robinson, later confirmed that Perry is indeed "currently under observation at the hospital."

Just yesterday, Fox announced a revival of BEVERLY HILLS 90210, a show where Perry starred as the snazzy side burn sportin' heartthrob, Dylan McKay, during a fair portion of the 1990s. Build as a 2019 summer event, Perry was not expected to join the project's six original stars who've signed on for more drama in the white hot streets of L.A.

Perry currently stars alongside K.J. Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Prouse, Marisol Nichols, and Madelaine Petsch, among others, as Archie Andrew's father, Fred Andrews, on The CW's RIVERDALE.

We here at JoBlo wish Mr. Perry the very best for a speedy recovery.
