The first episode of The X-Files revival will screen at New York Comic-Con

Along with STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, SPECTRE, and THE REVENANT, the long-awaited revival of The X-Files on January 24, 2016 is one of my most anticipated events of the winter. January still feels like a long ways off but some of you will be able to watch the first episode of The X-Files revival in just a month; lucky bastards.

Fox has announced that the first episode of The X-Files revival, titled "My Struggle", will screen at New York Comic-Con on October 10, 2015 and will be followed by a Q&A with Chris Carter and David Duchovny hosted by Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley). "My Struggle" will see Mulder and Scully take on a case of a possible alien abductee played by Annet Mahendru. The New York Comic-Con screening won't actually be the first time "My Struggle" will be seen as it will first premiere for international buyers at Mipcom on October 6, 2015 in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais de Festivals in Cannes

Hopefully the buzz out of New York Comic-Con will live up to the impossible hype I've bestowed upon the project; there's no way that can backfire on me right? For those of us who can't make it to New York Comic-Con, The X-Files revival will premiere on Fox on January 24, 2016. Patience Kevin, patience.
