Well we’ve got some official word coming our way from Variety. The last we heard, David R. Ellis was in line to direct this adaptation of the comic DYLAN DOG. Well Variety has something totally different today. Apparently Kevin Munroe (TMNT) will now be tackling the project with a script from Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly.
Tie me down and beat me red, but I really dug TMNT. Maybe it was because of my unhealthy obsession with the Ninja Turtles… but still, Munroe did a pretty good job of bringing an entertaining story to us. Now we’ve got him bringing us some DYLAN DOG? Groovy! The simple synopsis we have for the film is: Dylan Dog (Routh) is a private investigator who is drawn into the world of the undead. The comics have dealt with zombies, vampires, werewolves, and the like… so I’m sure we’re in for a fun time!
