With the first part of his two-part adaptation of the Stephen King novel IT ready to hit theatres on September 8th, director Andy Muschietti is preparing to take the helm of the pilot for Locke & Key, a Hulu series based on the comic book created by King's son Joe Hill.

Developed for Hulu by Hill and Carlton Cuse, who will serve as showrunner, Locke & Key is

a horror/fantasy series that revolves around three siblings who, after the gruesome murder of their father, move to their ancestral home in Maine only to find the house has magical keys that give them an array of powers. Little do they know, a devious demon also wants the keys, and will stop at nothing to attain them.

Frances O'Connor recently signed on to play Nina Locke, the mother of the three siblings, and now Muschietti has found an actor to play one of the siblings – and he didn't have to look far for him.

Jackson Robert Scott, who will be seen as the ill-fated Georgie in Muschietti's IT, has been cast as Bode Locke, the youngest Locke sibling. "Filled with all the optimism and imagination of an exuberant eight-year-old, Bode is especially attuned to the supernatural possibilities of Keyhouse… and especially vulnerable to the unnatural forces circling his family."

Scott was featured heavily in the first trailer for IT, which can be seen below. In fact, his delivery of "You'll float here" at the end of that trailer is my favorite moment in any of the IT promos I've watched.
