Not a whole lot I can say about these clips Syfy has released from their upcoming epic MEGA PYTHON VS. GATOROID, except… watch them. Watch them now. They’ve really outdone themselves this time, combining the self-aware goofiness of MEGA PIRANHA with the flat-out dumbassery of MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS. All we can do is sit back and thank them.
The Mary Lambert-directed film is airing on Syfy on JANUARY 28th; write that down, because we all need to see this. As you probably know, Ammon and myself joined the JoBlo podcast boys for a MEGA CAST back in April; this upcoming hilarity – combined with the newly-released MEGA SHARK VS. CROCOSAURUS – necessitates that we get together again and intellectually discuss these cinematic marvels. So now you’ve got homework.
Now feast upon the clips, each better than the last. I think “We need a bigger gator” (from the fantastic first clip) is sure to become the go-to catchphrase of 2011, trust me on this…
