My buddy Pat pointed ya’ll toward the poster and 7-minute teaser trailer for THE MUTANT CHRONICLES earlier this week. Unfortunately 24framespersecond, the site hosting said clip, exceeded its bandwidth and not many folks got a chance to check the damn thing out.
Not ones to be daunted by roadblocks, the good folks over at YouTube took up the hosting gauntlet. On top of that, our brothers over at JoBlo.com imbedded the action right here, so you can check it out with ease.
My thoughts are that it looks like a mix of THE TERMINATOR and PLATOON. Hard to tell if the movie will be effective, because the trailer mostly works on atmosphere. It does promise plenty o’gore and one last mission type scenarios. I’m not completely sold yet, but I’m certainly intrigued.
