My Bloody director

B-D scored the name of the guy being tapped to helm the MY BLOODY VALENTINE remake, as well as the guy who wrote the script. Are you ready for this???

Patrick Lussier, director of WHITE NOISE 2: THE LIGHT, has been snatched by Lionsgate to direct the remake, from a script written by Zane Smith – a guy who’s so new on the scene, he doesn’t even have an IMDB page (hell, even our very own AITH editor Eric Walkuski has an IMBD page).

Ripped straight from the original, the new storyline goes a little something like this: Ten years ago the
sleepy town of Harmony, Montana was the setting for a series of grisly murders on Valentine’s night. Now, it seems the killer is back…or is he?

Lussier may actually be able to pull this flick off; however, let’s not forget he is the one who’s also responsible for DRACULA 2000, DRACULA II: ASCENSION, and DRACULA III: LEGACY. Not that they were necessarily bad films, but let’s face it – they weren’t anything to write home about either. But how much greatness were we expecting, right? I mean, it IS a remake of a cheap slasher flick from the 80s, right?
