Myers mask for H2

Within the last month, rumors have turned into reality, as Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN 2 (H2) has been announced, early poster art was revealed, and Tyler Mane was announced as returning as the beloved Michael Myers. Yes, it’s been a busy month, and as the film’s hurling towards an August 2009 (!!!) release, Zombie and company are not wasting any time getting the show on the road.

Zombie updated his MySpace Blog with some H2 goodies this morning, and if you thought the updates were big before, you ain’t seen nothing yet! Zombie has three early looks at the new and improved Myers mask, still in clay mold form. But why waste my breathe, here’s Zombie explaining the new look:

If you thought Michael was fucked before, you ain’t seen nothing yet! He is bigger, meaner and more psycho than Dr. Loomis ever thought possible.

And the new mask proves it! You’ll have to use your imaginations a little bit, but it’s obvious the new look is going for a grittier, darker, and more mean-spirited Myers than we’ve seen in the past, a kind of Myers only Zombie could give us. Cool beans.
