I must admit, of all the televisual genre programming, I’m least intrigued by NBC’s “Grimm.” Just never really been a fairytales guy, what can I say.
But just because the show doesn’t tickle my fancy, millions of viewers did tune in to see what the show had to offer in the first episode last Friday. In fact, such an impressive rating share was achieved (1.6 million in the coveted 18-49 demo), NBC has gone ahead and ordered a full 10-episode season of “Grimm,” which means another 9 entries are on the way. In addition, the show will be moved to Thursday nights, airing at 10:00 PM.
In case you missed the pilot, “Grimm” centers on Nick Burckhardt, a good-looking detective who starts to see humans as beast/animals and discovered that he has a legacy – to protect “humans” from these beasts.
