Netflix orders more episodes of Making A Murderer

Did you lose yourself in the 10-hour binge-watch Netflix sucked you into with the true crime series MAKING A MURDERER? Did you find yourself re-trying the Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey cases in your head, wondering if he was truly innocent or guilty as charged? Did you suddenly have an interest in wanting to learn more, immersing yourself deeper into the resources of the internet to soak up as much information as possible about what happened in Manitowoc County in Wisconsin? Then you're in luck. Netflix has more to give.

A new episode order has been placed by the streaming content provider with executive producers/directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos getting right back into the same two cases to further examine what happens in the process post-conviction, in addition to showing the emotional toll everything takes on the convicted, on their families, on their attorneys as they continue to fight for justice they argue as escaped them. Avery's new lawyer and Dassey's new representation will be a part of the new episodes.

Production has already begun, but a premiere date has not yet been set yet, nor as an episode count. The first run of MAKING A MURDERER ran 10 episodes in total.

“We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of the series," Ricciardi and Demos said. "The viewers’ interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold."

MAKING A MURDERER recently received six Emmy nominations, including one for best documentary or nonfiction series.
