Netflix reveals The Babysitter 2 first look photos and official title

Netflix is unleashing a sequel to their popular original film, THE BABYSITTER, and they're teasing that it's on its way soon with first look photos and a short teaser that reveals the official title.

THE BABYSITTER: KILLER QUEEN will hit the streaming service next month on September 10, 2020. The teaser doesn't reveal much, only giving us a brief preview of the soundtrack along with the poster, but it does confirm the release date. You can view the teaser with the official title on their Twitter Page:

To accompany the teaser, Netflix also revealed several first-look photos via its NX Twitter account with the caption "a lil sneak peek into all the chaos." The teaser and the images give us our first look at the sequel to the 2017 horror hit. The photos do suggest promised chaos and we also get a look at some of the sequel's returning stars including Judah Lewis, Bella Thorne, and Robbie Amell. You can check out the first-look photos via the NX Twitter page below:

The original film focused on a lonely 12-year-old boy named Cole who falls in love with his babysitter. Soon he discovers that she was a part of a satanic cult that determined to kill him. The sequel picks up with Cole two years later after defeating a satanic cult led by his former babysitter. He is trying to forget his past and focus on surviving high school but old enemies unexpectedly pop up again and he will have to outsmart the forces of evil once more.

McG is returning to helm the sequel but Samara Weaving, who played the namesake of the film, also known as Bee, will not be returning for the new film. The cast of the sequel also includes Hana Mae Lee, Emily Alyn Lind, Andrew Bachelor, Ken Marino, Leslie Bibb, Carl McDowell, and Chris Wylde.

Will YOU be checking out THE BABYSITTER: KILLER QUEEN when it hits Netflix on September 10, 2020?
